In my lifetime I have had six dogs in their home (seven if you count my sister’s dog who is a frequent visitor and heavy shedder), and all of them loved to lie on furniture and get huge amounts of dirt. My parents have an all-in-one vacuum that we have always thought was pretty good however, when we moved the Bissell to the second floor, which is totally carpeted, our eyes were blown by the amount of dirt and fur accumulated. (Before you think we’re just filthy people who don’t vacuum My dad cleans the entire house every week at least.) Fur from our Westie Fiona who died in the year 2019, and Pekingese Ellie which passed away this summer, were spotted inside the canister. Each room was filled with the canister. The good thing, however, is that the canister is easy to empty and clean, so it wasn’t much of a hassle. Also, it has an insert for a Febreze filter, which left a wonderful smell that lasted about two days.
